To use this template, or any of the other donate templates, on your site, copy the block above (which is confusingly named CTA: Join, but don't worry about that) and then edit it.

You should change the text, to name your candidate or area, and change the button link to one of your Lighthouse 'tracker' donation pages. If you don't know how to use Lighthouse, every local party has one generic donation page set up for you at yourlocalpartydomainname/donate e.g. cheltlibdems.org.uk/donate

You should only link to one of our Party approved donation options, and we would reccomend using a Lighthouse Tracker donate page. You shouldn't link to any unapproved donation tools e.g. GoFundMe or to a PayPal account or similar direct donation option. We need to collect a host of details on our donors as a political party, in order to complete our donation returns and be compliant with election law. Lighthouse Tracker donation pages are the easiest way to do this, with all the details you need being stored in Lighthouse for your Treasurer to access!
